How Do Solar Panels Work?

Solar energy works by harnessing the power of the sun and making it usable for everyday uses.

Solar panels convert the light from the sun into DC power, which then needs to be converted into AC power for your home to use. This is where Inverters come in.  They take that freshly harnessed DC power and convert it into usable energy that gets fed back to the grid AND powers your home.
